Hart's Fabric is a cool store in Santa Cruz. If you've ever been to Santa Cruz, you'll know that everyone is friendly, low stress and how can I say this, just cool in that save the earth kind way. (Just didn't want to say GREEN) I think it's getting way too trendy and almost sad how people use it now. Does nobody remember the late 60's and early 70's when we were all about the anti-pollution and saving the trees? I think it continued till the 80's, then I don't really know what happen. SUV's and jumbo everything? Anyways, loving these fabric and they are sort of modern with a little "Ching Chong the Chinaman kind of way" as my white honky friends would say : ) ( I never said I was always PC.)

Couldn't agree more with you about (g-r-e-e-n). I do remember the 60s and 70s and how the anti-pollution movement just disappeared. Now, it's trendy again, which is great. But it sometimes seems as much a marketing tool as anything.
Love the fabrics! Which is something of a "duh" for me at this point, huh, Dana? "Everyone is friendly, low stress?" To hell with Calgon...Santa Cruz, take me away!
